Everybody has always said I was born to be a DJ. Probably because I’ve been spinning records and adoring music longer than I’ve been able to walk. There’s not a silent second of my life; music, music facts, and music memorabilia fill every nook and cranny of my house, and I’m so excited to be a part of such a big station that fills southern New England with country. I was born in Cranston, RI and have lived there my entire life. I grew up on a tree-lined street in good old suburbia and had some of the best neighbors around, many of whom are still some of my best friends to this day. One of my favorite things to do as a kid was to eat. I’m pretty much as Italian as they come (but don’t worry, my grandfather was from Texas. There’s some cowboy in there somewhere). Even still, I can’t get enough bread, pasta, and tall glasses of lemonade to go with it. But as soon as I got my first Beatles record for Christmas when I was 4, all bets were off. I knew the rest of my life would be about music. And being super chatty didn’t hurt my chances in radio either. Long story short, I’m happy to serve your music needs in any way possible. - My favorite country song of all time is Drivin’ My Life Away by Eddie Rabbit.
- My favorite local restaurant is Twin Oaks in my wonderful hometown of Cranston.
- My favorite smell is tomato sauce cooking on the stove all day on a Sunday.
- My favorite pizza is cheese (Sorry, I know it’s boring. Olives and mushrooms are good too!)
- My favorite ice cream flavor is pistachio.
- I prefer shorts to long pants but they must be paired with flip flops. I hate the way shorts look with sneakers, particularly on me because I think it clashes with my big hair.
- My favorite TV drama is the ORIGINAL Law & Order. My favorite comedy is Seinfeld, hands down.
- No tattoos for me, haha.
- My favorite food is eggplant parm.
- My favorite drink is lemonade. Pink if possible.
- My favorite holiday is Halloween but mostly just because it’s my girlfriend’s favorite. I’m kind of a grinch about holidays in general, but I eventually come around.
- I’m definitely a night owl. I stay up as late as I can, but I’ll need six different alarms to wake me up in the morning.
- My favorite season would have to be Summer, but only because I get to wear shorts and flip flops. They relax me.
- My favorite sport is basketball by far. To watch, to play, anything. I wish I was better at it.
- My favorite place to vacation is Block Island. I always went there as a little kid on family vacations and it’s fun to go back.
- My dream vacation would probably be going to Martha’s Vineyard. I know it’s not much of an extravagant getaway, but I’ve never been and I’d really like to go.
- I have no regrets. Seriously. I try to always do what I think is best. (At the risk of sounding goofy and pretentious).
- My favorite Cat Country moments are anytime I’m on the morning show and get to talk to our fantastic listeners. Always a treat. Love you guys.
