I was born in New York City, but grew up in Central Maine. My family owned a restaurant in Skowhegan, Maine, so I grew-up washing dishes, setting tables and learning how to short-order cook. Going through high-school with dish-pan hands was no thrill!
I was a political science major in college – not realizing that doesn’t really prepare you for anything specific after graduation! Good thing that part-time job at the radio station turned into full time – and spawned a career of 20 + years. Along with hosting a mid-day shift, I am also Cat Country 98.1’s program director – working with a very talented staff to bring you what you hear every day on the radio.
In my spare time, I love tennis, baseball, reading and exploring new places. My DVR is set to catch The Office, Flashforward, Survivor and Big Bang Theory.
I have always loved to travel – good thing because I have lived in Reno, Nevada, Salt Lake City, Utah, Milwaukee, Wisconsin and several places in Florida. I am happy to be home in New England where I live with my wife and 2 children in Wrentham.
