Taylor Swift‘s Midnights became Spotify‘s most-streamed album in a single day following its release last Friday.

Swift also broke the record for the most-streamed artist in a single day in Spotify history.

Both the records were set on October 21, within hours of the release of Swift’s 10th studio album.

Leading up to the release, Spotify and Swift teamed up to reveal lyrics from the album on different billboards around the world.

The record-breaking artist describes the 13-track album as “the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life.”

Swift’s last release, Red (Taylor’s Version), broke the Spotify record for the most-streamed album in a day by a female artist, generating more than 90 million streams.
