Taylor Swift’s Cat Reportedly Worth $97 Million

Pop superstar Taylor Swift‘s cat is reportedly one of the richest pets in the world.

According to the Pet Rich List, Olivia Benson, the best friend and feline companion of Swift, is worth a whopping $97 million, making her the third richest pet in the world.

“The Scottish Fold earned her fortune starring alongside her owner in several music videos, has crafted her own merchandise line, and has had cameos in many big-budget ads, including for the likes of Diet Coke and Ned Sneakers,” the website says.

According to Yahoo!, the cat made a cameo appearance in the official video for Swift’s 1989 single “Blank Space” and starred in an AT&T advertisement alongside the singer.

Olivia Benson is named after the “Law & Order: SVU” character portrayed by Mariska Hargitay.

The No. 1 spot on the Pet Rich List is taken by a German shepherd called Gunther VI, who’s owned by the Gunther Corporation and is worth $500 million, while the No. 2 spot is held by Nala Cat, a feline with more than 4 million followers on Instagram, who is reportedly worth $100 million.
