Taylor Swift has called on her fans to register to vote in the upcoming midterm elections.
“Are you registered to vote yet?” the global superstar asked her fans in a statement posted on her Instagram Stories.
“I’ve been so lucky to see so many of you at my US shows recently,” Swift said, referring to her Eras Tour. “I’ve heard you raise your voices, and I know how powerful they are. Make sure you’re ready to use them in our elections this year!”
“Register to vote in less than 2 minutes at vote.org/nvrd,” the 33-year-old singer concluded the message that she wrote on National Voter Registration Day.
In a similar call she made in July, Swift urged her fans to vote in Nashville’s mayoral election.
Swift, who has won a dozen Grammy awards, has more than 272 million followers on Instagram.
