Tanya Tucker Shares ‘Ready As I’ll Never Be’ From New Documentary

Iconic country singer Tanya Tucker recently shared a new single, “Ready As I’ll Never Be,” which is the end-title song of the new Sony Picture Classics film, The Return of Tanya Tucker – featuring Brandi Carlile.

The song marks Tucker’s first new music since the two-time Grammy Award-winning 2019 album, While I’m Livin’. The new song was written by Tucker and Brandi Carlile.

Produced by Carlile and Shooter Jennings and mixed by Trina Shoemaker, “Ready As I’ll Never Be,” is a powerful reflection of gratitude and regret – with key contributions from Tucker on vocals, Carlile on piano and background vocals, Phil Hanseroth on bass and background vocals, Tim Hanseroth on background vocals, John Schreffler, Jr. on pedal steel, and Matt Chamberlain on drums and percussion.

According to description, The Return Of Tanya Tucker follows “Tanya’s richly creative, utterly captivating, bumpy ride back to the top as Brandi encourages her to push past her fears to create a new sound and reach a new audience.”
