Morgan Wallen Makes Surprise Appearance At Georgia Charity Event

Morgan Wallen made a surprise appearance at a charity event in Georgia on Monday (June 14), making his second public appearance after his “N-word” controversy.

Wallen performed at the afterparty of the inaugural Brett Boyer Foundation Invitational. The embattled country singer performed his hit song “Whiskey Glasses” as well as his unreleased “Thought You Should Know.”

Last month, Morgan Wallen performed at Kid Rock‘s Nashville bar. It was the country singer’s first performance after being caught on camera using the “N-word” back in February.

In February, the singer got embroiled in a controversy after he was caught on camera shouting expletives and even using the “N-word.” He later issued an apology.

However, he was suspended by his label, Big Loud Records, and removed from iHeartMedia and Entercom radio stations as well as CMT. He was banned from several award shows including the Billboard Music Awards, ACM Awards and CMA awards.

Meanwhile, Wallen’s second album Dangerous: The Double Album, which dropped in January, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and spent an unprecedented 10 straight weeks atop the chart.
