LeAnn Rimes has rescheduled two of her shows this weekend due to a “bleed” on her vocal cord.

In a message posted on Instagram, Rimes explained how her vocal injury developed.

“While sick with the flu, my doctor discovered a bleed on my vocal cord, caused by the violent cough that came along with being sick, she said. “I am getting better, but I am unable to talk or sing. doctor’s orders!”

“I am devastated to have to do this as there was nothing more that I was looking forward to than celebrating the holidays with you. Please check your emails for rescheduled information and I will see you very soon,” Rimes added in a handwritten letter posted on the social media platform.

The concert originally set for Friday, December 9, at the Riverside Casino & Golf Resort is rescheduled to September 29, 2023.

Another show, which was to be held at the Ryman Auditorium on Saturday, December 10, will now take place on April 8, 2023.

There is no changes in the remaining dates on her holiday tour, including Lincoln City, Oregon, on December 16 and 17; Airway Heights, Washington, on December 18; and Pala, California, on December 22.
