Kelly Clarkson performed Adele‘s “Send My Love (To Your New Lover)” as part of the “Kellyoke” segment on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” on Tuesday (April 27).

“Send my love to your new lover / Treat her better / We’ve gotta let go of all of our ghosts / We both know we ain’t kids no more,” sings Clarkson, clad in a sparkling white dress.

“Send My Love (To Your New Lover),” written by Adele, Max Martin and Shellback, was part of Adele’s third studio album, 25, which came out in 2015. The song enjoyed great success, topping charts in more than a dozen countries and going five-times platinum.

Clarkson has covered several top songs on “The Kelly Clarkson Show”, including Christina Aguilera‘s “What a Girl Wants”, Frank Sinatra‘s “My Way” and “Gaslighter” by the Chicks. Last month, she covered “Water Under the Bridge,” which is also from Adele’s 25 album.
