Jana Kramer Gets Engaged To Former Soccer Player Allan Russell

Country star and podcast host Jana Kramer announced during Thursday’s episode of her iHeartRadio podcast “Whine Down with Jana Kramer” that she’s engaged to former soccer player Allan Russel.

Kramer, for whom this will the fourth marriage, also posted a series of photos of Allan, her kids and her diamond ring on Instagram.

Kramer, who has been dating Russel for about six and a half months, said, “I’ve had a few things that I have not been talking about because, you know, just want to do it when I’m ready, and so I’ve got an announcement today,” she said, adding that it was Russell, who popped the question.

Kramer said she and Russell had hosted a small pool party, and as it wrapped up, he suggested they go with her kids Jolie and Jace (her children with ex-husband Mike Caussin) for a walk up to the new house they’re building.

“It was a really beautiful night, and me and the kids were all sitting. on the front porch of the steps, and just looking out at the view,” she said. “And he said my name, and I got up or whatever and then he got down on one knee, and Jolie just started jumping up and down. It was the cutest thing ever, it’s like she knew what was happening.”

Kramer added that she sort of blacked out at that point although she remembers Russell saying, “You’re the love of my life” and asking for her hand in marriage.

“It’s a very respectful relationship,” Kramer said of her bond with Allan. “And I don’t think I’ve ever experienced something like that, where it’s like he respects me so much and I respect him. There’s so much love and respect. I’m like, ‘Oh my God, what a concept!’”
