Dan + Shay Earn Eighth No. 1 On Billboard’s Country Airplay Chart With ‘Glad You Exist’

Country music duo Dan + Shay have earned their eighth No. 1 on Billboard‘s Country Airplay chart with the song “Glad You Exist.”

“Glad You Exist” rose 3-1 on the Country Airplay chart dated August 21, with the track seeing a 4 percent increase to 29.9 million audience impressions in the week ended August 15, according to MRC Data.

“This song is a message of gratitude to everyone in our lives, and we’re truly grateful to see it at the top of the chart,” Dan + Shay said in a statement to Billboard. “There is nothing quite like the feeling of having a No. 1 song, and we couldn’t think of a better time to celebrate it than the week of our album release. Thank you, fans and country radio . we’re glad you exist!”

“Glad You Exist” is a track from Dan + Shay’s fourth full-length album, Good Things, which dropped on August 13.

Dan + Shay first topped Billboard‘s Country Airplay chart with “Nothin’ Like You,” which led for a week in December of 2015.

“From the Ground Up,” “How Not To,” “Tequila,” “Speechless,” “All to Myself” and “10,000 Hours” with Justin Bieber are their other No. 1s.
