Coors Light recently shared an extended cut of their Super Bowl ad featuring LL Cool J and Lainey Wilson.
LL Cool J features as a conductor of the Coors Light Chill Train. The ad opens with a girl bringing her boyfriend home to meet her family during a football game. However, the boyfriend realizes that he and his girlfriend’s family are cheering for different teams. To improve the hostile atmosphere, the girl asks if anyone wants a Coors Light.
The iconic Chill Train comes out of the Rocky Mountains to deliver the beverage.
Wilson features in the ad as the train comes through Nashville and zips right past her photoshoot. “Oh my,” she says in disbelief as she discovers a Coors Light in her hand.
The ad ends with the train arriving at the house with the conductor, LL Cool J, dropping off a can for everyone.
“The Chill Train and this iconic song have been part of our culture for years and it’s great to have them back,” said LL Cool J. “It’s an honor to be the conductor of the Coors Light Chill Train in their Big Game ad, spreading good vibes and serving up some ice-cold Coors Light.”
On game day, Coors Light will also release a special slo-mo extended version of the ad on YouTube that features 100 passengers and special guests who scored a seat on the train inside the ad, including a few familiar faces. All riders received an official contract, $500 in talent fees and special commemorative swag.
