CMT Announces Week Of New Shows Leading Up To 2023 CMT Music Awards

CMT has revealed plans for a week-long programming celebration on the network during CMT Music Awards Week, beginning March 27.

The week includes the debut of a brand-new series “CMT Defining” in celebration of the 10th anniversary of “CMT Next Women of Country,” and features two-time CMT Music Awards nominee Carly Pearce.

In addition, there are two all-new “CMT Storytellers” that spotlight CMT Music Awards co-host Kane Brown and superstar Dierks Bentley.

Brown and Kelsea Ballerini will host the 2023 CMT Music Awards that will air from Austin, Texas’ Moody Center on April 2 on the CBS Television Network.

The CMT Music Awards will return to CMT following its inaugural broadcast on CBS with the “CMT Music Awards Extended Cut,” featuring 30 extra minutes of bonus content and never-before-seen performances on April 6.

Programming set for CMT Music Awards week includes “CMT Music Awards Nominee Special” on March 27, “CMT Storytellers: Kane Brown” on March 28, “CMT Storytellers: Dierks Bentley” on March 29, “CMT Defining: Carly Pearce” on March 30, “CMT Music Awards Red Carpet” Live on April 2, “CMT Music Awards – Live” on April 2, and “CMT Music Awards Extended Cut” on April 6.
