Brian Kelley Announces New Album ‘Tennessee Truth,’ Shares Personal New Song ‘Kiss My Boots’

Brian Kelley has announced a new album, Tennessee Truth, and shared a personal new song, called “Kiss My Boots.”

The Diamond-selling superstar’s much-anticipated full-length debut album will be released by Big Machine Records on May 10.

Across 12 pumped-up country anthems, Kelley testifies to the restorative power of rural living, everlasting love, and badass guitars. It is a defiantly first-person account – or, as he shares, “It’s a way for me to express myself and my family and our values.”

Eight of the tracks were co-written by Kelley, while the album was produced by Dann Huff.

“It was healing to write. I feel released now,” Kelley admits of “Kiss My Boots,” a track he co-wrote. “Everyone processes things differently. I went inward. I went to work and stayed busy. I’m proud of myself for doing it that way. It was worth it.”

He added, “Now, I have a song that helped me through a tough time. Hopefully, ‘Kiss My Boots’ can help a lot of people. Give them some confidence and help them get their power back.”
