Brandi Carlile Shares Cover Of Diana Ross’ ‘Home’ From ‘Ted Lasso’ Soundtrack

Brandi Carlile recently shared a cover of Diana Ross‘ “Home,” which features on the Season 3 soundtrack of “Ted Lasso.”

“Home” is a song from the 1975 Broadway musical, The Wiz. It was written by Charlie Smalls and was performed by Stephanie Mills in the stage production and by Ross in the 1978 film adaptation and released on the soundtrack album in 1978.

Carlile’s version of “Home” appears in the penultimate episode of Season 3 of “Ted Lasso.”

Carlile also produced the track herself at ShangriLa Studios, with a backing band composed of Matt Chamberlain on drums, Sebastian Steinberg on bass, Dave Palmer on piano and organ, and Chauntee Ross and Monique Ross on strings.
