A thumps up to the owners of the Pawtucket Red Sox for announcing that plans to move the PawSox out of Pawtucket have been put on hold. In a joint-letter to fans, PawSox chairman Larry Lucchino and Pawtucket Mayor Don Grebien say the club has repaired relations with city officials. The letter says, “The primary focus this year is on our fans and the McCoy Stadium experience. We are actively collaborating — the public and private sectors — with the shared goal of making the Pawtucket Red Sox a baseball, charitable, civic, and entertainment success, and we need your help as we move forward.”  It seems like the owners are finally listening to the fans!
